"After the first-year success of Angie Nelp and the women's basketball team and the arrival of Eric Konkol and his staff for men's basketball there is a grassroots level of excitement about both basketball teams right now," Tulsa Vice President and Director of Athletics Rick Dickson said. "To help further enhance that enthusiasm and effort we are announcing more aggressive and attractive pricing options to help win back Tulsa basketball fans and bring back the excitement into our arena."

The light grey (111 and all upper corners) and dark grey (204-206, 213-215) sections will include options for the Family Fun Zone, which includes two adult and two youth tickets, at $250 and $450 respectively.

The Tulsa men's basketball team introduced Eric Konkol as the 31st head coach on March 22nd. Konkol comes to Tulsa following seven seasons at LA Tech, where he compiled a 153-75 record. He won 46 games in his first two seasons, the most for any previous LA Tech head coach, and his 153 career victories is the third-highest win total in school history.

In Angie Nelp's first year, Tulsa made its first postseason appearance in seven seasons, advancing to the WNIT Second Round.  TU also put together the programs' best start and longest winning streak (10-0), and finished the year with 17 wins, the most since the 2014-15 season.  Individually, Temira Poindexter was named The American Freshman of the Year, and Poindexter and Delanie Crawford were tabbed to the all-Rookie team.
