The 2022 Tulsa women's soccer season kicks off with a pair of road contests at Mid-America Christian on Thursday, August 18 and at Kansas City on Sunday, August 21.

Tulsa returns 16 letterwinners, including nine starters from a year ago, welcomes back an additional 15 squad members and added seven newcomers to the roster.  Madison Williams was a 2021 American Athletic Conference all-Rookie team honoree, while teammates Kayla Fernandez (2019) and Madison Tokarchik (2020-21) were tabbed to the team their freshmen seasons as well.

Jim Rhein took over the reins of the Tulsa women's soccer program prior to the 2021 campaign after 13 years on the staff.  In his 15th season overall, Rhein was named as an assistant coach in 2008, was promoted to associate head coach in 2013, took over as interim head coach in 2021 and now serves as the head coach beginning with the 2022 season.  During his tenure, the Golden Hurricane has compiled a 114-120-29 mark.

Mid-America Christian recorded 11 wins last season.  The Evangels compete in the Sooner Athletic Conference, which is an NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) league and is part of the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association).  This will be the first meeting between TU and the Evangels
