Tulsa fell 1-0 at home to Oklahoma State Thursday (Aug. 25) at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium.

Tulsa fell to 1-1-1 overall following the loss.

"Outside of about 30 minutes in the first half, we had the majority of the game," Head Coach Jim Rhein said.  "We held possession in the second half, we outshot them in the second half and for us to play that quality of a team in the past we wouldn't be able to walk away and feel disappointed because we'd been outclassed, but we've started to build on the existing players with some of the younger players and we are headed in the right direction.  It is disappointing to lose, especially on an own goal, but I want to continue to look at the bigger picture and process.  Everyone knows where we came from and now we are showing where we are going."

How it Happened
