The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Creighton on Sunday afternoon at Morrison Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 3-2-1 on the season, while the Bluejays moved to 3-0-3 overall.

"We ended up playing 19 kids, we have one goalkeeper and out of our back five we only had one of our regular players in," Head Coach Jim Rhein said. "Soccer is just sometime unfair. I know the stats look one-sided, but the game wasn't nearly as one-sided."

Tulsa will return to action against Oklahoma on Thursday, September 8 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

How it Happened:
Juelle Love put the Bluejays on the board with just 41-seconds ticked off the clock and then Hanna Luke added a two-goal cushion in the 20^th minute. Neither team found the back of the net in the next 70 minutes off the clock for the final 2-0 score.

Game Notes:

Creighton had an 18-4 lead in shots, including an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
The Bluejays had a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.
Karsen Aguirre had two shots, both of which were on goal for the Golden Hurricane.
Kylie Koeijmans logged all 90 minutes in goal and picked up six saves.
