The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Oklahoma on Thursday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 3-3-1 on the season, while the Sooners moved to 2-2-2 overall.
"We played a much better second half, but one little mistake cost us," Head Coach Jim Rhein said. "We weren't as dangerous as I wanted us to be in the final third and we need to be more aggressive in the box."
Tulsa will return to action on Sunday, September 11 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff beginning at 1:00 pm at the Hurricane Stadium.
How it Happened:
Morganne Eikelbarner put Oklahoma on the board at the 31:35 mark off an assist from Ella Pappas. Neither team found the back of the net for the remainder of the contest for the 1-0 final score.
Game Notes:
- Oklahoma had a 23-7 lead in shots, including an 8-0 advantage in shots on goal
