
Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts Oklahoma This Thursday; Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday

The Tulsa women's soccer team will play host to Oklahoma on Thursday, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU will then host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday beginning at 1 pm.
Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688. Champions Fund Members who donate $300+ get in free. A list will be at the north ticket gate or you can show your membership card from last year.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. Tulsa, which has a 3-2-1 overall record, has scored eight goals on the season, including a team-best four goals by Madison Tokarchik. Karsen Aguirre, Liliana Fernandez, Emilie Torres and Emily Brandenburg have each netted one score for TU this year. Raegan Beeding has logged 270 minutes between the posts, picked up 18 saves and allowed four goals for a 1.33 goals-against average, while Kylie Koeijmans has played 180 minutes in goal, recorded nine saves and allowed two goals, and Tatum Sanders has played 90 minutes in goal, earned one save and didn't allow a goal.
Oklahoma has a 1-2-2 mark on the season. Their one win came against North Texas. Bri Amos and Emma Hawkins both have two goals on the season for the Sooners, while three others have one score. Alexis Washington has a team-best three assists. Makinzie Short has played the majority of minutes in goal, picked up 24 saves for a 0.667 saves percentage and allowed 12 goals for a 2.55 GAA.
Oklahoma has an 11-2-1 lead in the all-time series over TU, including a 3-2 overtime win in 2019
Arkansas-Pine Bluff has a 3-3 record, but will take on Oral Roberts before facing TU.
Natalie Freeman has a team-best three goals, while Tiana Johnson has added two scores, and two others each have one goal. Iyanah Hicks has a team-high two assists. Makaila Riedel and Taylor Schumacher have both logged time between the posts for a combined 31 saves, a 0.674 saves percentage, and allowed 15 goals for a 2.50 GAA.
Tulsa has won both games with Arkansas-Pine Bluff with both games coming in 2021, one in the COVID-altered 2020-21 campaign and one in the true 2021 season.
