Tulsa Golfers in 8th Place after Day One at The Ally

FIRST ROUND RESULTS
WEST POINT, Miss. –– The Tulsa women golfers sit in eighth place following first round action at The Ally on Monday. The Hurricane finished with a 13-over par 301 total as sophomores Jenni Roller and Grace Kilcrease led the way with identical 2-under par scores of 74 at the par 72 Old Waverly Golf Club.
Indiana leads the 12-team field with a 7-under 281 score, followed by host Mississippi State (284), Florida (285), James Madison (291) and LSU (292), rounding out the top five finishers.
Tulsa super senior Lilly Thomas carded a score of 4-over 76 for 36th place, while junior Sydney Seigel and freshman redshirt Allyn Stephens are tied for 46th place with opening round scores of 77.
The tournament will continue Tuesday and conclude on Wednesday.
