Tulsa Downs Oklahoma Christian 74-60 in Exhibition Game

TULSA, Okla. –– Cobe Williams scored 22 points to lead the new look Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball team to a 74-60 win over Oklahoma Christian University Wednesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa's only exhibition game.

Tulsa improved its career record in exhibition games to 70-2 with the victory.

Tulsa held an eight-point lead at halftime while leading by as many 10 points twice in the first 20 minutes. In the second half, the Hurricane took its first double-digit lead at the 17:17 mark on a PJ Haggerty three-pointer for a 40-28 advantage. Tulsa held a double-digit lead through most of the second half, leading by as many as 16 points at the 13:16 mark.

Tulsa opens the regular season Monday at home against the Central Arkansas Bears. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
