TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team was on the football field today for its first spring workout under first-year Head Coach Kevin Wilson. The Hurricane practiced 150 minutes on the turf of Chapman Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
"For day one, it was really good," said Wilson. "I thought we had a good winter where we learned and came of out of it really good. For day one, it was okay, but it's day one without pads."
"I thought we started a little sluggish today, but as we got going in team drills and throwing, it was okay," Wilson added. "I like the group. I appreciate and respect what they're doing. I'm sure we've got decades and miles to go, but it was a good start. I'm proud of the group."
