BLUE & GOLD CHAMPIONS NIGHT KICKS OFF HALL OF FAME WEEKEND, APRIL 28-29

TULSA, Okla. –– One weekend … two events … and countless memories are what Tulsans can be a part of on TU Hall of Fame Weekend, April 28-29, 2023, at The University of Tulsa campus.

The weekend will kick-off on Friday, April 28, with Blue & Gold Champions Night beginning at 7 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The night of gaming benefits TU Athletics and the Golden Hurricane Champions Fund. Champions Night will include gaming, food & drink, live music, raffles, live and silent auction and bingo.

Tickets for the Blue & Gold Champions Night are priced at only $25 per person.

A night later, Saturday, April 29, TU will recognize five new inductees and one team as the school's 2023 Athletic Hall of Fame Class.

The inductees include four Golden Hurricane All-Americans – volleyball athlete Tyler Henderson, track and cross-country star Alex Becker, tennis' Arnau Brugues and football punter Rick Engles – as well as former NFL head coach Ray Rhodes. The 1922 Undefeated Football Team is recognized as this year's Honor Team.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at the Lorton Performance Center beginning at 6 p.m. Admission for the Hall of Fame reception and ceremony is $50 per person.
