Tulsa Duo Finish Among Top-15 to Earn All-America Honors in 10,000 Meters

AUSTIN, Texas –– Tulsa senior runners Cormac Dalton and Scott Beattie finished among the top-13 in the 10,000-meters on the opening night of the 2023 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships Wednesday at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas campus.
Dalton clocked a time of 28:35.83 for 10th place and Beattie placed 13th with a time of 29:10.31, as the duo earned second-team All-America honors with their top-16 performances. Dalton and Beattie become the eighth and ninth 10,000m runners in school history to place among the top-13 and earn All-America accolades.
Stanford's pair of Ky Robinson and Charles Hicks finished one-two in the event with times of 28:10.96 and 28:12.20, respectively.
