Tulsa Football Adds Home-and-Home vs. Sam Houston State

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa has agreed to a home-and-home football series with Conference USA member Sam Houston State with games scheduled for the 2026 and 2031 seasons.
Tulsa travels to Huntsville, Texas, for the first of the two games on Sept. 12, 2026, at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium, while Sam Houston State returns the trip to Tulsa on Aug. 30, 2031.
The two teams have played once before, coming in the 2009 season when Tulsa defeated Sam Houston State, 56-3, at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
