Three Tulsa Football Student-Athletes Earn CSC All-District Academic Honors

TULSA, Okla. – Three Tulsa football student-athletes – Stephen Kittleman, Zach Neilsen and Owen Ostroski – were tabbed to the 2023 Academic All-District Football Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, it was announced today.
 
This honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. 
 
Kittleman, a 6'1" sophomore from nearby Jenks High School, was an integral part of Tulsa's special team's unit in the 2023 campaign, serving as holder on all placements. Kittleman, who is also a backup quarterback, has maintained a 3.89 grade point average in finance.
 
A 6'1" defensive end from Brisbane, Australia, Neilsen recorded 19 tackles and one pass breakup in his second season with the Golden Hurricane. Neilsen maintains a perfect 4.00 GPA in mechanical engineering.
 
Ostroski, a 6'2" defensive lineman from Tulsa's Holland Hall High School, has a 3.63 grade point average in finance. In nine games, all starts, Ostroski compiled 31 tackles and was second on the team for tackles for lost yards (10/-49) and quarterback sacks with four for -37 yards. He missed three games in 2023 due to injury.
