
Tulsa Football Signs 14 to 2025 Class

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa football program signed 14 high school seniors to financial aid agreements on Wednesday.
The Tulsa class includes seven signees on both sides of the ball and 11 of the 14 who received a three-star rating from 247Sports. On offense, the Golden Hurricane added three linemen, two receivers, one tight end and one quarterback. Defensively, three linebackers, two safeties, one interior lineman and one end will join the Tulsa roster in 2025.
The state of Oklahoma is represented by three players, while two players come from Arkansas, one from Kansas and eight from Texas.
The Oklahoman's are highlighted by 247Sports three-star offensive lineman Javion Antai (6'4", 285) from perennial prep power Jenks High School. He is joined on the offensive line by Edmond Deer Creek's Evan Odom (6'6", 290).
Antai's prep teammate, linebacker Sam Stone (6'1", 215), completed his career second on Jenks' all-time tackles chart with 351 career stops, second behind former Jenks, Oklahoma Sooner and NFL star Rocky Calmus.
Arkansas prep stars Hudson Ball (6'2", 240) and Decari Prater (6'3", 175) finished the season among 247Sports top 16 players in the state. A defensive end, Ball is ranked No. 16 in Arkansas at Shiloh Christian High School after playing his first three seasons at Jenks (Okla.) High School. Prater is rated as the No. 15 recruit in the state and as a safety helped his Prescott High School team post a three-year record of 34-6.
Tulsa's lone signee from the state of Kansas is Lawrence High School's Banks Bowen (6'3", 208). The three-star quarterback completed his career with 4,144 passing yards and 36 touchdowns, while rushing for 2,109 yards and 27 TDs in his three seasons.
Seven of Tulsa's signees from the state of Texas earned a three-star rating from 247Sports. The group of Texans includes four players on offense and four defenders.
On offense, receivers Donnell Gee (6'0", 175"), from Allen High School, and Shane Walker (5'10, 175"), from The Woodlands, were both rated three-star prospects by 247Sports and nominated for the Whataburger Super Team, while three-star lineman Ian Mayes (6'3, 280") was a two-time District Offensive Lineman of the Year at Arlington Bowie High School. Denton Guyer tight end Jackson Shockley (6'4", 220) finished his senior season with 13 receptions for 148 yards after earning all-district honors as a junior.
All four defensive players from Texas had three-star ratings from 247Sports. Two linebackers – Sean DaVault (6'1", 230) and Tristan Lawyer (6'4", 225) – highlight the group. DaVault tallied 124 stops and 31 TFLs his senior season at Sachse High School, while in six games Lawyer had 62 stops and eight TFLs at Frisco Wakeland.
Safety RJ McIntosh (6'2", 185), from Lovejoy High School, and Coppell lineman Titus Roberson (6'3", 265) were both three-year starters and received three-star ratings from 247Sports.
