TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa men's basketball team will play its 11th and final road game of the regular season as the Golden Hurricane takes on the Temple Owls on Saturday in the Liacouras Center.

Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. and will air on ESPN+ with Harry Donahue and Marc Jackson bringing fans the action. TU fans can also catch the game on Big Country 99.5 FM and the Varsity Network app. Bruce Howard and JR Rollo have the call.

Tulsa (14-14, 5-11 The American) and Temple (11-17, 4-11 The American) meet for the 20th time in a series Tulsa leads 11-8. Saturday will be the 18th game the two have played as members of The American Athletic Conference. The Hurricane is 4-6 on the road in the series and Temple has held the advantage of late, winning the past four matchups.

The Hurricane enters after a disappointing 89-73 loss on the road at UTSA. Although TU shot above 40 percent from the floor, 3-point shooting was scarce as the Roadrunners buried 14 triples to Tulsa's five. PJ Haggerty led Tulsa with 29 points and 10 rebounds, collecting his second double-double of the season. He also reached 100 assists for the campaign, making him the first freshman in Tulsa history to reach the century mark.

Temple is playing its best basketball of the season after winning three-straight games heading into Saturday's home contest. The stretch started with a win over UTSA before going on the road to knock off Wichita State in overtime and a dominant win at Rice. Temple now has an opportunity to move up the standings and perhaps avoid playing on the first day of the conference tournament.

Following Saturday's game, the Golden Hurricane has no game in the midweek before closing the regular season at home against South Florida on Saturday, March 9.
Tipoff for the Senior Day game is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
