Volleyball, 2009-12
Tyler Henderson became the first Tulsa volleyball player to earn All-America first- or second-team honors as selected by the AVCA, earning second-team honors in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She was a four-time AVCA all-Midwest Region first team selection and was named the AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year in 2009.
She led Tulsa to three straight NCAA tournament appearances, advancing to the second round in 2010 and 2011. Henderson was the Conference USA Player of the Year for her final three seasons after earning C-USA Freshman of the Year accolades in 2009.
Henderson led Tulsa to a school-best 31-3 overall record and 20-0 C-USA mark in 2010. She completed her career as the school record-holder for kills (2,525) and career hitting percentage (.328). Her 710 kills as a sophomore established a new school single-season record.
