Tulsa Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Golden Hurricane volleyball team, under fourth-year head coach Lauren Ramatowski, announced its 26-match regular-season schedule for the 2026 season. The reigning American Conference champions will face 10 nonconference opponents and compete in 16 American Conference matches, including eight total home contests at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
The 2026 schedule features eight opponents that advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, including a rematch against Miami and matchups with Kansas, Arizona, Creighton, South Dakota State, UTEP, Rice and South Florida.
Tickets
Season tickets for all eight Tulsa Golden Hurricane volleyball home matches at the Donald W. Reynolds Center are on sale now. Starting at just $50, season-ticket holders will receive one membership card per ticket purchased that provides admission to all 2026 regular-season home matches in the Reynolds Center. Season tickets are not valid for postseason contests.

Nonconference Schedule
Tulsa's challenging nonconference schedule begins Friday, Aug. 28, at the New Mexico State Tournament. The Golden Hurricane will face host New Mexico State on Friday, NCAA Tournament qualifier UTEP on Saturday and New Mexico in the tournament finale on Sunday, Aug. 30.
A week later, Tulsa travels to Omaha, Nebraska, for the Bluejay Invitational. The Golden Hurricane will play three matches in three days, opening against Pepperdine on Sept. 4, Arizona on Sept. 5 and host Creighton on Sept. 6. Arizona reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season, while Creighton advanced to the Elite Eight.
The third nonconference tournament of the season takes Tulsa back to Lawrence, Kansas, where the Golden Hurricane competed in the NCAA Tournament last season. Tulsa will face South Dakota State on Sept. 12 and Kansas on Sept. 13 in the Kansas Invitational. Both opponents advanced to the NCAA Tournament following strong 2025 seasons.
Tulsa's fourth and final nonconference tournament will take place in Coral Gables, Florida, where the Golden Hurricane will face LSU and Miami on Sept. 18-19. Tulsa will look to avenge its first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Miami from last season.
Tulsa has faced LSU once previously, defeating the No. 15 Tigers in straight sets during the first round of the 2010 NCAA Championship. The victory marked the Golden Hurricane's first win over a ranked opponent.
American Schedule
The 16-match American Conference schedule includes home-and-home series against Memphis, North Texas, Rice and Wichita State. The Golden Hurricane will also host Florida Atlantic, South Florida, Temple and UTSA while traveling to Charlotte, East Carolina, Tulane and UAB. All conference matches will be played on Fridays and Sundays.
Tulsa opens conference play with its first home matches of the season against South Florida on Sept. 25 and Memphis on Sept. 27.
Nine matches highlight the October schedule, beginning with road contests at Wichita State (Oct. 2) and UAB (Oct. 4). Tulsa then returns to the Reynolds Center to host UTSA (Oct. 9), Wichita State (Oct. 11) and Rice (Oct. 16).
The Golden Hurricane then heads on a three-match road trip to North Texas (Oct. 18), Tulane (Oct. 23) and Rice (Oct. 25).
Tulsa closes October and opens November by hosting Florida Atlantic (Oct. 30) and North Texas (Nov. 1).
The Golden Hurricane follows with a three-match road stretch at Charlotte (Nov. 6), East Carolina (Nov. 8) and Memphis (Nov. 13).
The regular season concludes on Nov. 15 when Tulsa hosts Temple on Senior Day at the Reynolds Center.
Conference play concludes with the 2026 American Conference Championship. The tournament, seeded by regular-season conference standings, is scheduled for Nov. 20-22. The tournament champion will receive the league's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
