TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa football Head Coach met with the media on Friday this week to discuss the end of preseason camp and preview the upcoming season opener against Northwestern State next Thursday evening.

The Golden Hurricane and the Demons will meet on the gridiron for just the second time. Tulsa grabbed a home 26-19 in the previous matchup on Sept. 17, 1983. Kickoff for Thursday's game is set for 7 p.m.
TU celebrates Jimmy Buffet on Margaritaville Night for the opener. The Buffet Beach Band performs at Chapman Commons beginning at 4:45 p.m.
