Men's Soccer Secures Road Win Against Temple

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Tulsa (3-7-2, 2-3-0) secured a 1-0 victory over Temple (1-9-2, 0-4-0) at the Temple Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The lone goal of the match was a game-winner in the first half, while Tulsa's defense recorded a shutout, marking Carlito Saylon's fifth career shutout.

The match between Tulsa and Temple began with both teams quickly exchanging offensive attempts. Tulsa's Jared Aguilar and Gyuwon Chong took early shots within the first two minutes, with Chong's attempt going out. This game was notable for Aguilar and Chong, as both achieved a career high with four shots each. Temple responded with multiple attempts, including a shot by Aiden O'Sullivan that hit the left woodwork at 5:10. Tulsa gained the advantage in the 21st minute when Luke Adams scored his first career goal, assisted by Aguilar, giving them a 1-0 lead. Preston Neal, Temple's goalkeeper, had multiple saves, notably denying shots from Chong and Arnau Pedrola Fortuny, keeping the score close.
