Frederick, Schutte, SymSmith Earn All-Conference Team Spots

TULSA, Okla. – The American Athletic Conference released its women's soccer all-conference awards this morning, with Jordan Frederick, Blaine Schutte, and Maggie SymSmith each earning spots on their respective all-conference teams.
Senior Jordan Frederick was named to the American All-Conference First Team following a breakout season. The Bixby, Okla. native has scored 11 goals, including three game-winners, while adding eight assists for a total of 30 points. Frederick has delivered in clutch moments throughout the year, including scoring back-to-back goals against Kansas City in the final minutes to secure a win for Tulsa. She has recorded four multi-goal games this season, solidifying her role as a key contributor to the Golden Hurricane's success. Frederick earned four conference player of the week honors this season and was previously named to the 2023 American All-Conference First Team and the 2022 All-Conference Rookie Team.
Sophomore Blaine Schutte was named to the American All-Conference Second Team following a strong 20-point regular season. The Eureka, Mo. native has tallied nine goals and two assists while leading Tulsa with 44 shots across 19 games played. Schutte also earned All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Team honors last season.
Senior Maggie SymSmith rounds out Tulsa's all-conference honorees, earning a spot on the American All-Conference Third Team after an impressive season. The Garland, Texas native scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points. SymSmith netted game-winners against UTSA and Rice, helping Tulsa secure its highest-ever seed in the American Conference Championship. She was also named to the 2022 All-Conference Rookie Team.
The Golden Hurricane will look to continue their success against Rice in the quarterfinals of the American Women's Soccer Championship on Monday at 12:30 p.m. CT in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
