Concert and Tailgate Experience Set for UAB

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane returns to H.A. Chapman Stadium this Saturday, Nov. 29, when they host UAB in American conference action. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT.
Prior to the game, fans are invited to the TU Tailgate on Chapman Commons, where we will have activities and games. The event is free and open to the public.
Following the team walk at 11:45 a.m., the King Cabbage will be performing. King Cabbage is a brass band from Tulsa, Oklahoma with a mission to bring people together with joyful music. They are dedicated to honoring the originators of brass band music, working hard to serve their communities, and starting a party in a safe space where all feel welcome.
Since its formation, King Cabbage has established itself as a regional favorite among people from all walks of life. Performing at festivals like SXSW and FORMAT Festival which featured Leon Bridges and Alanis Morsette, as well as countless concert series, and selling out historic venues, the word is getting out about King Cabbage's live show.

Tailgating opens four hours prior to kickoff this season. Tailgating will shut down 30 minutes prior to kick-off to allow fans ample time to enter the stadium. Tulsa will honor its seniors starting at 1:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy the music, and be part of the electric game-day atmosphere leading into kickoff at 2 p.m.
