Tulsa Football Schedule Update for Oklahoma State

TULSA, Okla. –– The Gateway First Bank Turnpike Classic will take place on a new date, as Tulsa travels to Stillwater to play Oklahoma State on Friday, Sept. 19, according to an announcement by The American and Big 12 Friday morning. The game was originally designated for Saturday in Week 4.
With the updated schedule, the Golden Hurricane will now play two games on weeknights, both on the road. Tulsa faces conference foe East Carolina on Thursday, October 16.
The Hurricane opens its season at H.A. Chapman Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Abilene Christian. Tulsa plays at New Mexico State (Sept. 6) and will host Oregon State on Nov. 15. TU opens conference play at home against Navy (Sept. 13) and will also host Tulane (Sept. 27), Temple (Oct. 25), and UAB (Nov. 29) in league play. The Hurricane plays on the road at Memphis (Oct. 4), at Florida Atlantic (Nov. 8) and at Army (Nov. 22).
The 2025 American Athletic Conference Football Championship will be either Friday, Dec. 5 or Saturday, Dec. 6. The conference championship is played at the home site of the top team in the conference based on league standings.
Kickoff times and televisions selections for the first three weeks and weeknight contests will be finalized by June 1. The others will be selected via the traditional 12-day and 6-day process.
