Football Places Four on Phil Steele’s All-AAC Team

TULSA, Okla. – Phil Steele Magazine has released its 2025 All-American Conference Preseason Team, and four Tulsa Golden Hurricane placed four on the publication's preseason honors list.
Linebacker Ray Coney led the way for the Golden Hurricane, earning second-team honors. Nahki Johnson (DT) earned third-team honors, while Zion Booker (WR) and Bryon Turner Jr. (DE) were on the fourth-team list.
Tulsa will begin the season on Saturday night, Aug. 30, as they host Abilene Christian at 7 p.m. at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The game will be available digitally on ESPN+.
