TULSA, Okla. — Cal St. Fullerton (1-0-1) edged Tulsa (0-1-1) 1-0 on Thursday night at Hurricane Soccer Stadium, with the game's lone goal scored in the first half. This match marked the second all-time meeting between the teams, with the series now tied at 1-1.

The first half saw Cal St. Fullerton take an early lead against Tulsa with a goal from Fitz Williams in the 11th minute. The Titans maintained offensive pressure, recording several shots, including a saved attempt by Jose de la Torre in the 25th minute. Tulsa's defense, led by goalkeeper Carlito Saylon, managed to stop multiple shots, including a crucial save against Williams in the 29th minute. Tulsa's offense struggled to find the back of the net, despite efforts from Will Applegate, whose shot in the 41st minute was saved by the Titans' goalie Asger Hemmer. Despite increased pressure from Tulsa, the half ended without changes to the score, with the Titans holding onto their 1-0 lead.

The loss leaves the Golden Hurricane at 0-1-1 on the season. With the win, Cal St. Fullerton improved to 1-0-1 overall.

The Tulsa soccer teams are looking for more ball kids for the 2025 season. Ball kids and one accompanying parent or guardian will receive free admission for games they sign up for. Ball kids will retrieve balls that go out of bounds on the sidelines for the entire game. The minimum age to be a Ball Kid is 8 years old. Kids ages 13 or older are not eligible to participate.
