Tulsa Women Drop Exhibition to No. 22 Oklahoma State

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa women's soccer team hosted the 22nd-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls for an exhibition contest Friday night at Hurricane Soccer Stadium, falling 2-0. 514 fans in the stands got to see 27 of 28 Golden Hurricane players step on the field and earn valuable playing time ahead of the regular-season opener at Central Arkansas, which is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Thursday, August 14, in Conway, Ark.
Oklahoma State showed why they're nationally ranked, utilizing an efficient offense to score two goals and leaning on a tough defense that held TU to two corner kicks and just two shots on the night. OSU's opening score came in the 26th minute on a left-footed kick by Gracie Bindbeutel, and their second came in a 59th-minute penalty kick by Xcaret Pineda.
After next week's regular-season opener, Tulsa will return home to host Stephen F. Austin on Sunday, August 17, at 1 p.m. The match will stream on ESPN+.
Women's Soccer Ticket Information

Ball Kid Sign-ups
The Tulsa soccer teams are looking for more ball kids for the 2025 season. Ball kids and one accompanying parent or guardian will receive free admission for games they sign up for. Ball kids will retrieve balls that go out of bounds on the sidelines for the entire game. The minimum age to be a Ball Kid is 8 years old. Kids ages 13 or older are not eligible to participate. Groups will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up by clicking HERE.
