Olson Leads Women’s Golf at Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – The Tulsa Women's Golf team competed on day one of the Schooner Fall Classic. Playing 36 holes on day one, Tulsa battled and finished in tenth place.
Playing at Belmar Golf Club, TU shot 566 (+6) after the first 36 holes of the event. Oklahoma State leads the tournament, shooting 544 (-16) on the opening day. To view the complete leaderboard, click here.
Sophomore Samantha Olson came out and fired a first round of even par 70, but rebounded in the second round. During the second 18 of the day, Olson fired a career-best five-under-par 65. She sits tied for 6th with 18 holes remaining in the tournament.
Jenni Roller sits tied for 20th after two solid rounds at the Schooner Fall Classic. She shot one-under par 69 and even par 70 in the second round. She is currently one under for the tournament.
Freshman Zoe Shamy had a solid first round that saw her shoot one-over par 71 in the first round. However, she shot a five-over-par 75 in the second round and is tied for 62nd. Allyn Stephens sits in a tie for 69th. She shot three-over par 73 and five-over par 75 on the day.
Jeanne Pagnier rounded out the Golden Hurricane as she shot nine-over par over the first day. She shot six-over par 76 in the first round and improved by three shots in the second round to shoot three-over par 73.
Hanna Robinett, who is golfing as an individual, shot nine-over par over the first 36 holes. She is tied for 75th. Robinett shot five-over par 75 and four-over par 74 in the first and second rounds, respectively.
