Women’s Golf Finishes 10th at Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – The Tulsa Women's Golf team finished in 10th place at the Schooner Fall Classic. The three-day event was condensed into a two-day event due to the weather.
On the final day of the event, Tulsa shot its best round of the tournament, finishing with an even-par 280 in the final round. Oklahoma State won the event, shooting 822 (-18) for the 54-hole event. To view the final results, click here.
Leading the way for the Golden Hurricane at the Schooner Fall Classic was Jenni Roller. She finished in a tie for 17th at the event. In the final round, she shot even-par 70. She finished the tournament one-under par 209.
Samantha Olson finished in a tie for 28th at the event. She shot one-over par 211 for the 54-hole event. She shot six-over par 76 on the final round.
Freshman Jeanne Pagnier shot a career-best round in the final round of the tournament. She shot a three-under-par 67 on the day. She improved 11 spots on the leaderboard in the final round. She finished the tournament six-over par 216.
Allyn Stephens carded a round under par on the final round. She shot one-under par 69 on the final round. She finished seven-over par 217 and in a tie for 57th. Zoe Shamey rounded out the TU players as she shot four-over par 74 on the final round. For the event, she shot 10-over par 220 for a tied for 65th place finish.
Hanna Robinett, who is golfing as an individual, shot 17-over par for the 54-hole event. She shot an eight-over par 78 on the final day and finished tied for 82nd.
Tulsa returns to action on Monday, Oct. 6, when it participates in the Prairie Dunes Women's Collegiate in Hutchinson, Kan. The event will take place at Prairie Dunes Country Club and will be hosted by Oklahoma.
