
Tulsa Falls in Weekend Finale at North Texas

DENTON, Texas — Tulsa fell to North Texas with a final score of 9–1 at Lovelace Stadium on Sunday.
Daeya Moses tallied an RBI and recorded a double, contributing to the team's offensive effort. Faith Russell got on base twice, registering one hit and drawing a walk. Brinly Maples pitched 2.0 innings of relief
Tulsa began the game strongly in the first inning. Faith Russell singled to the pitcher and Amber Turner reached on a fielder's choice. Daeya Moses then doubled down the right field line, driving in Turner for an early lead. North Texas responded with a run of its own, tying the score by the end of the inning.
North Texas took the lead in the third with three runs and added two more in the fourth for a 6-1 lead. The sixth inning saw the Mean Green further increase their lead with three additional runs. A single to shortstop brought in two unearned runs, and another single drove in the final run.
Tulsa is back home this weekend for a three-game series against South Florida beginning on Friday.
