BOCA RATON, Fla. — Tulsa fell to Florida Atlantic 5–1 at FAU Softball Stadium on Sunday.
Tulsa (17-26, 8-13) managed seven hits in the contest, including two doubles, but could not overcome Florida Atlantic's early lead. Florida Atlantic (29-17, 10-11) secured the win with consistent scoring, highlighted by a three-run third inning.
Claira Skaggs posted two hits, including a double, contributing to the team's offensive efforts. Annika Dill scored a run and collected a double, showcasing her ability to advance on the bases. Emma Vickrey recorded two hits and drove in a run, highlighting her impact at the plate. Alexa Hopkins pitched 3.0 innings in relief, striking out four and allowing only one hit.
