
Moses Homers Again but Tulsa Falls to No. 6/9 Arkansas on Wednesday

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa fell to No. 6 Arkansas, 7–2, at Collins Family Softball Complex on Wednesday. Tulsa's scoring came in the fourth inning, highlighted by a home run, but it managed only four hits overall.
Daeya Moses highlighted her performance by hitting a home run, her eighth of the season, and collecting two RBI. Claira Skaggs contributed with a double and scored one run. Maura Moore pitched 3.0 innings and recorded two strikeouts. Annika Dill added one hit to the team's offensive efforts.
In the second inning, Arkansas took an early lead with a three-run homer by Karlie Davison, scoring Kennedy Miller and Cam Harrison as well. The third inning saw Arkansas add another run when Atalyia Rijo singled to right center, bringing Brinli Bain home, extending their lead to 4–0.
In the fourth inning, Claira Skaggs doubled down the right field line to lead off the inning, setting the stage for Daeya Moses, who hit a two-run homer to left field. This effort brought Tulsa on the board, closing the gap to 5–2.
Arkansas scored two more runs in the seventh inning. Ava Carter scored on a fielder's choice by Ramsey Walker, and Walker scored later on an RBI single by Ashtyn Reichardt. This extended Arkansas's advantage to 7–2. Tulsa couldn't get anything going in the bottom half of the inning with its last chance at the plate.
Tulsa closes its home schedule this weekend against East Carolina with Senior Day festivities scheduled for after the game on Sunday.
