Grant Spencer was named director of creative media for football at The University of Tulsa in May 2022.

Spencer came to Tulsa following four months as the digital media coordinator for athletics at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Before that, he spent four years at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned his degree in strategic communications and served 16 months as a creative specialist in the athletic department.

A native of Sallisaw, Okla., Spencer spent the 2019-20 academic year as a creative media intern for UCO athletics before being promoted to a permanent position as creative media specialist in August 2020.

Spencer earned his degree in December 2021 from UCO.
