Passed for a career-high 296 yards and three passing touchdowns against Temple on October 25, 2025.
Connected with Brody Foley for a 72-yard touchdown against Tulane, the longest player of the season for Tulsa.

Hayes appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2024 for ETSU.
Made his debut on November 16 vs. Furman and in his first collegiate game, Hayes completed three of five passes for 42 yards.
Hayes would get the starting nod in the regular season finale at VMI on November 23.
He became the first true freshman to start for the Bucs under center since 1993.
In his first start, Hayes led the Bucs to a 16-9 win over the Keydets where he completed 15 of his 25 pass attempts for 119 yards.
