High School --Was a three-year starter at Purcell High School...was named district defensive player of the year as a senior after recording 80 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble...for his career, recorded 215 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles...also played wide receiver...had 350 yards rushing, 220 yards receiving and 70 yards passing during his career...also played baseball for three years, breaking the school record for most stolen bases...was class valedictorian and a member of both the National Honors Society and Oklahoma Honors Society...high school head coach was Mike Wilson.
