Was an outstanding tailback and receiver for the Golden Hurricane after transferring from TCU … in two seasons, he totaled 729 yards rushing, 558 receiving yards and 501 kickoff return yards for a 26.4 average per return … had three 100+ yard rushing games and a long return of 91 yards in his career … was selected in the 10^th round of the 1974 NFL Draft by the New York Giants and made a position change to the defensive secondary … after six seasons with the Giants and one year in San Francisco, he began his coaching career in 1981 with the 49ers where he spent 11 seasons and won five Super Bowl rings … served four years as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was named the Associated Press Coach of the Year in 1995, and spent the 1999 season as the Green Bay Packers head coach.
