Cassidy Suits was appointed to The University of Tulsa’s spirit squad coaching staff as the Cheer Coach in July 2020.
Suits returns to TU, where she spent three years as a member of the Golden Hurricane spirit squad (2013-16). She served as cheer captain in her senior season of 2015-16. Before coming to Tulsa, Suits spent her freshman year at Oklahoma State where she was member of the All Girl Team in the 2012-13 campaign.
While cheering competitively as a youngster, Suits competed at Cheerleading Worlds every year from 2007-2016 and competed on multiple premier level 5 and level 6 over the course of several years. She was with Southwest Spirit (2001-06), Cheer Dynamix (2006-09) and Twist & Shout (2009-16).
Suits has volunteered with coaching the TU spirit squad in 2019-20 and has assisted with multiple TU spirit camps following graduation.
Suits also currently is an emergency department RN at Bailey Medical Center.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from TU in 2016.
