Aidan Fiol came to The University of Tulsa as an assistant track & field coach in July 2022.
 
Fiol came to Tulsa following two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach with the Arkansas men’s cross country and track & field program. He assisted with all aspects of Razorback cross country and distance training. In addition, Fiol assisted with the operations of the 2021 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships, 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships and the 2022 NCAA West Prelims.
 
Before that, Fiol served as a graduate assistant for the University of Connecticut track & field and cross-country programs. He helped coached the distance runners and implemented a strength & conditioning program for the male and female cross-country runners.
 
Fiol earned two degrees in kinesiology and exercise science from UConn. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2018 while competing in track and cross country as a student-athlete and then received his master’s in 2020.
