CAREER NOTES: A five-time letterwinner.

2023-24
CROSS COUNTRY: Was one of four Tulsa men to race in all five meets.

Finished fifth on the team and 12^th overall in 15:27.7 at the Cowboy Preview (5,000m).
Crossed the finish line in 24:36.07 for 56^th at the Loyola Lakefront Invite (8,000m).
Placed 177^th at the Nuttycombe Invitational (8,000m) with a 24:50.7 finish.
At the AAC championships (8,000m), finished sixth on the team and 23^rd overall for a season-best performance of 23:47.6.
Clocked a 32:45.3 finish in the Midwest Regionals to finish sixth on the team and 108^th overall.

2022-23
OUTDOOR: Ran in four meets.

Set a personal best in the 1500m run at the Bryan Clay Invite with a time of 3:49.41.
Took second in the Shocker Invitational 1500m, finishing in 3:56.10.
Competed in the 800m at the AAC Championships, placing third with a time of 1:50.40 to earn all-conference honors.

INDOOR: Ran in three meets.

Set personal best in the 1000m run during Arkansas Invitational, with a time of 2:26.22.
Earned first place in the mile run at the Larry Wieczorek Invite, with a time of 4:06.39.
Earned all-conference honors by taking second place at The American Championships 800m run with a time of 1:51.61.

CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in one meet.

At the AAC Championships, finished with a time of 24:45.7, finished in 21^st place.

2021-22
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Ran in two meets.

Set a personal best of 4:11.07 for sixth place in the mile run at the Arkansas Invitational.
At the Washburn Open, set a personal best of 8:15.54 in the 3,000m run, finished seventh place
Won the Distance Medley Relay at the Washburn Open, helping his team finish with a time of 9:52.30.

CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL:

A four-year letterwinner in track and cross country, three-year letterwinner in lacrosse and a letterwinner in hockey at Bismarck High School.
Named the North Dakota Powerade Cross Country Senior Athlete of the Year.
Earned 2017 North Dakota All-State cross-country honors.
In 2019, was a North Dakota State Class A 1600m, 3200m, and 4x800 relay champion.
Was a 2020 National High School Trail Championship runner up.

PERSONAL:

Born on November 19, 2002.
Son of Tracy and Mary Korsmo.
Has two sisters; Dani and Nicki, and one brother, Brady, who’s also on the Tulsa cross country and track teams.
Started running cross country and track at age 9.
His favorite movie is Slap Shot.
His favorite food is ice cream.
His favorite professional athlete is Russell Wilson.
His hobbies include running, hunting and church/youth group mission groups.
