Tulsa Women Third after Two Rounds at Edean Ihlanfeldt

Seattle, Washington - The University of Tulsa women's golf team is in third-place after two rounds at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. The Golden Hurricane improved six strokes from the first round at the par-72 Sahalee Country Club in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday.

Tulsa scored 300 in the second round for a 606 total, and trails leader Southern Caifornia by seven strokes. The Trojans have a 36-hole total of 599, followed by second-place Arizona State, which shot the day's best round on Tuesday of 294 for a 605 total. Rounding out the top-10 includes Tulsa and UCLA in a third-place tie, Stanford, Pepperdine, Washington, California, Oregon and San Jose State.

Junior Stacy Prammanasudh is two shots behind the individual leader, Stephanie Keever of Stanford, after scoring a one-over par 73 on Tuesday. Tulsa's two-time All-American has an even-par 144 total after the first 36 holes. She is tied with USC's Candie Kung for second place. Keever has scored rounds of 70-72 for her two-under 142 total.

Hurricane freshman Julie Tvede is in 10th place with a 151 total, and is followed by sophomore Maiko Senda's 152 total, which is good for 14th place. Tvede and Senda each scored 75s on Tuesday. In addition, freshman Suzie Fisher and junior Dani Mallon are in 40th and 46th place, respectively.

The tournament wll conclude on Wednesday with the final 18 holes.
