Prammanasudh Ranked Fifth; Hurricane Women in Action Edean Ihlanfeldt

University of Tulsa two-time All-America golfer Stacy Prammanasudh is ranked fifth in the most recent issue of the MasterCard Collegiate Rankings as released on October 5. The Hurricane women's team is ranked 11th nationally in the same rankings.

Prammanasudh has placed among the top-10 in both fall tournaments for the Hurricane this season, and has finished out of the top-20 just once in her collegiate career.

Tulsa is back in action next Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 9-11, at the 22nd Annual Edean Ihlanfeldt Inivtational at the Sahalee Country Club in Redmond, Washington. The par-72 course will play at 5,953 yards for the 54-hole tournament.

A total of 11 of the 17 teams are ranked among Golfweek's top-50 teams, including top-15 teams such as USC (#4), Pepperdine (#7), California (#10), Tulsa (#11), New Mexico (#12).

In addition to Prammanasudh, the Hurricane will be led by a pair of freshmen, Suzie Fisher and Julie Tvede. Fisher was named the Western Athletic Conference's Golfer of the Month for September with fourth and ninth-place finishes in her first two collegiate tournaments.

Tvede placed fifth in her first career tournament this fall. Junior Dani Mallon has also turned in solid performances for the Hurricane, placing ninth at the Comcast/Dick McGuire Invitational in Tulsa's last outing.

Each day will consist of 18 holes beginning with tee-off times at 8:00 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday, and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
