Weather Plays a Roll in Cancellation of White Rock

Due to inclement weather in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex all but two races at the White Rock Invitational were canceled on Sunday, Nov. 12. The Tulsa women's rowing squad competed in two novice-4 races, placing first and third, respectively. Against Texas and SMU.

The novice-4 number one boat finished ahead of Texas and SMU, while the novice-4 number two boat placed behind Texas and SMU.

This was the last scheduled fall regatta for the Hurricane rowers. The squad will have two training sessions, December 30 - January 6, and March 4-10. Competitive action will be resumed in mid-March at the Long Horn Invitational in Austin, Texas.
