22 Tulsa Rowers Named to Big 12 Spring All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference has named 22 University of Tulsa rowers to the 2026 Spring All-Academic Team. Five Golden Hurricane stood out with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Student-athletes who received the honor maintained a 3.20 GPA or higher, either cumulative or over the two previous semesters, and participated in at least 20% of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen were not eligible, while senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are eligible.
Among the Golden Hurricane's 2026 recipients were Ella Abraham, Hela Belhaje Mohamed, Emily Bell, Olivia Brett, Steffi Brewer, Hannah Elsobky, Hannah Evans, Linzi Foutch, Bri Gfroerer, Maddie Grainger, Seraina Hatt, Stephanie Hickman, Taylor Korb, Anna Lackner, Stevie Lanier, Sienna Lopez, Sarah Menefee, Eva Settle, Letizia Susenna, Riley Van Skam, Darya Vyrupayeva, Danielle Winter
Lackner, the Big 12's Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year, went 3-for-3 on academic awards this season, earning CRCA Scholar-Athlete, CSC Academic All-District and Big 12 All-Academic Team distinctions.
