15 Tulsa Rowers Receive CRCA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

Wilmington, Del. — The Collegiate Rowing Coaches of America (CRCA) announced 15 University of Tulsa rowers as Scholar-Athletes for their excellent performance on the water and in the classrooms.
The CRCA Scholar-Athlete Awards honor outstanding collegiate rowers who exemplify excellence both in the classroom and on the water. These awards celebrate the commitment, discipline, and academic achievement of student-athletes who rise to the challenge of excelling in a demanding sport while maintaining exceptional academic performance.
The requirements to be honored include being at least a sophomore in eligibility, competing in a minimum of 75 percent of spring races or racing in an NCAA boat at the conference championship, and having a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
Among the Golden Hurricane's 2026 recipients were Ella Abraham, Hela Belhaje Mohamed, Emily Bell, Steffi Brewer, Hannah Elsobky, Linzi Foutch, Bri Gfroerer, Maddie Grainger, Seraina Hatt, Stephanie Hickman, Taylor Korb, Anna Lackner, Letizia Susenna, Darya Vyrupayeva, Danielle Winter.
Bell, Gfroerer and Vyrupayeva are three-time scholar-athlete honorees, while Abraham, Elsobky, Hatt, Korb, Lacker and Susenna receive the recognition for a second time in their career, and Belhaje Mohamed, Brewer, Foutch, Grainger, Hickman and Winter are first-time recipients.
