Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa juniors Kris Glasser and Mario Gonzalez, along with sophomore Jamie Dabney, each scored one goal and earned one assist in leading the Golden Hurricane to a 3-1 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Vanderbilt at the Donna J. Hardesty Sports Complex.

Tulsa (9-5, 3-2 MVC) tallied two first half scores and one in the second half, while Vanderbilt (2-12, 0-5) recorded its lone goal early in the second half.

The Hurricane got on the board at the 23rd minute when Gonzalez collected a straight pass from Dabney on the left side of the goal and nailed a shot through the pipes for a 1-0 Tulsa lead. Junior Bryan Rudd, who played the ball to Dabney, and Dabney were each credited with an assist on the goal.

A little over three minutes later, Glasser, who made his first start of the season, increased the TU advantage to 2-0 when he centered a pass from Gonzalez and blasted a shot from point blank rank into the back of the net at 26:21. Both Gonzalez and senior Derek Meyers each earned an assist on the score.

Tulsa led 2-0 at intermission and Nik Demello got the Commodores on the board when he came up with a loose ball in front of the net and scored Vandy's lone goal at 53:37.

The remainder of the game was all in Tulsa's advantage. The Hurricane out shot the Commodores 18-7 for the game, including 7-4 in the final period. Dabney added an insurance goal at the 67:32 minute mark when he found the back of the net off a double assist from freshman Matt Wiley and Glasser.
