STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - LaToya Thomas scored 42 points and grabbed 15 rebounds Sunday to lead No. 24 Mississippi State to a 92-66 win over Tulsa in the second round of the preseason WNIT.

The Lady Bulldogs (2-0) face Penn State on Wednesday.

Tulsa (1-1) was led by Allison Curtin's 21 points. Alyssa Shriver added 13.

Thomas shot 20-for-30 from the floor and had three assists. Tan White added 20 points and Rebecca Kates had 12.

Mississippi State dominated inside behind Thomas. The Lady Bulldogs outrebounded Tulsa 48-26 and shot 55 percent while holding Tulsa to 40 percent.
