TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Iciss Tillis scored 19 points in her return home as No. 1 Duke beat Tulsa 90-36 Saturday night.
The game was scheduled to give Tillis, who went to Tulsa's Casica Hall High, a chance to play in front of her hometown fans. For Tulsa, it was the worst loss in school history.
Alana Beard led Duke (10-0) with 25 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four assists. Michele Matyasovsky scored 13 points and Sheana Mosch added 11.
Allison Curtin, a transfer from Illinois who entered the game as the nation's fifth leading scorer with 26 points per game, scored 16 points but had 13 turnovers for Tulsa (4-6).
Tulsa committed a school-record 35 turnovers.
Duke forced Tulsa into turnovers on its first eight possessions and jumped to an 11-0 lead. Alyssa Shriver made Tulsa's first shot at 15:34 of the first half.
The Blue Devils forced 18 turnovers and made 7-of-11 3-pointers in the first half. Tulsa shot just 27.9 percent from the field and was outrebounded 48-31.
