Tulsa's Fisher Ranked Second Nationally

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa senior golfer Suzie Fisher (Coffs Harbour, Australia) is currently ranked second nationally in the Golf Stat rankings. She is also ranked 15th in the GolfWeek/Sagarin ratings.
Fisher has a 73.3 stroke average after one fall tournament. She was named the Western Athletic Conference's Women's Golf Athlete of the Month for September after placing fourth at the Dick McGuire Invitational, Sept. 25-27. Her second-round 66 established a new University of New Mexico Championship Course record by one stroke.
In addition, senior Julie Tvede is ranked 34th and sophomore Cas Bridge 64th in the Golf Stat rankings.
As a team, the Hurricane is ranked 20th nationally in both polls, the best ranking for any Western Athletic Conference school. Tulsa placed third as a team at the Dick McGuire Invitational in its first fall tournament.
Tulsa is back in action at the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate, October 17-19, in Palo Alto, California.
