Hurricane Falls to Greenwave in Semifinals on Saturday

Tulsa, Okla. - The 57th-ranked Tulsa men's tennis team fell 4-0 to 27th-ranked Tulane in the semifinals of the 53rd-Annual Blue & Gray National Collegiate Tennis Tournament hosted at the Lagoon Park Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama. The Golden Hurricane fell to the Greenwave for the second time this season, losing 6-1 in New Orleans in late February.
Tulsa's 55th-ranked doubles tandem, Ryan Livesay and Dustin Taylor, fell 8-1 to 11th-ranked Michael Kogan and Victor Romero in the No. 1 position, while Alejandro Tejerina and Aleksander Charpantidis fell 8-5 in the No. 3 slot.
In singles competition, Livesay was defeated by 15th-ranked Kogan in the No. 1 singles position, falling 7-5, 7-6, while 96th-ranked Taylor fell 6-3, 6-2 to Dmitriy Koch. Also for TU, Shunsuke Shimizu lost 6-4, 6-4, in the No. 4 slot.
