Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa's 51st-ranked men's tennis team will host seventh-ranked TCU on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus. There is no charge for admission.
The Golden Hurricane, led by 76th-ranked Dustin Taylor and 82nd-ranked Alejandro Tejerina, will fight to earn its first win against a top-30 team this season. TU nets an 8-6 mark this season, dropping all six matches to top-30 teams.
The Horned Frogs, however, look to continue their perfect 11-0 mark this year. TCU's 40th-ranked Alex Menichini, 21st-ranked doubles tandem of Hector Almada and Jocopo Tezza, as well as the 36th-ranked duo of Rafael Abreu and Fabrizio Sestini, will lead the team in the dual.
In the last meeting against TCU, the Horned Frogs notched a 6-1 victory on March 29, 2003. TU's Taylor earned the Golden Hurricane's lone point, a 6-4, 3-6, 10-6 win over Fabrizio.
