Play at Ping ASU Invitational Suspended

Tempe, Arizona - Play in the PING/ASU Invitational, in which the Tulsa women's golf team is a participant, has been suspended for the day due to inclement weather. First-round play will resume at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, and second-round play will begin immediately following the first round using the same hole assignments and pairings as used on Friday morning.

Four Tulsa golfers began play, as the only Hurricane golfer to not tee-off was senior Julie Tvede. Hurricane golfers were on holes 1 thru 3.

Teams participating are Arizona, host Arizona State, California, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Pepperdine, San Jose State, Stanford, Southern California, Tulsa, Texas, TCU, UCLA and Washington.

Thunderstorms are expected throughout the weekend.
