Camacho Named WAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Diego Camacho was named the WAC Men's Tennis Player of the week Tuesday.

Denver, Colo. - Tulsa junior captain Diego Camacho has been named the first Western Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week. This is the first player of the week of the spring.

Camacho, a junior from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, participated in all four dual matches last week, winning all four of his singles matches, losing only 12 of 60 games. In doubles action, Camacho and Andy Connelly finished a perfect 4-0 as well. Camacho's season record is 13-5 in singles. In addition to the 4-0 record he posted with Connelly over the weekend, Camacho is also 5-4 in doubles play with Will Gray.
